 The
Backyard Aquaponics Magazine was started by Joel Malcolm and the
moderators and administrator at the Backyard
Aquaponics Forum.
The magazine was seen as the most efficient
method
of getting up to date information out to people who had an interest in
aquaponics, as well as an easy way to condense some of the information
from within the online discussion forum in an easy to read and
understand format.
The Backyard Aquaponics Magazine inaugural
issue
was released in late 2007 as a free download for anyone interested in
the subject of aquaponics. This issue has received great applause from
many areas, and to date has been downloaded well over twelve thousand
times.
We showcase different aquaponic systems in
each
edition, giving details about how people have built their systems and
how reliable and productive they have been. We will also feature a
different marine species in each edition that is suitable for
growing in an aquaponic system.
