welcome to The Backyard aquaponics magazine

Aquaponics is the combination of aquaculture and hydroponics. When joined together the two form a symbiotic relationship where by the  plants clean the water for the fish, and the fish provide the nutrient for plant growth.

An incredibly simple concept that can be adapted in so many different ways to suit an individuals circumstance.

Our aim is to spread information about aquaponics to as many people as possible, to help people design, build and maintain their own aquaponic systems, with useful advice and information.
